Aim Training on a Mac, Linux and Chrome OS

Many of us would love to squeeze a bit of Aim Training into our daily routine. A quick 10 minutes on a regular basis helps keep your aim on point and can lead to substantial improvements over time.

The challenge is though, that many of us don't want to fire up our gaming PCs just for a quick aim training session. Or sometimes we just want to fit a quick session into a lunchbreak or at school.

If any of you are using non-Windows PCs this can pose a bit of a problem. Most aim trainers are Steam-based which means no Mac, Linux or Chrome OS. There are a few options though.

Desktop Aim Trainers for Mac and Linux

There is currently only one desktop Aim Trainer available that works natively on Mac and Linux and that's Aiming.Pro. Aiming.Pro has a downloadable desktop app that runs natively on OS X and all versions of Linux.

Aiming.Pro is a fully-featured aim trainer and many people see it on par with Kovaak's in terms of drill quality and competitive scene. And the good news is that, unlike Kovaak's, it's free.

To set it up, simply download it from here and run the installer.

You'll need to create a free account when you first run it and that's it - you're good to go.

Desktop Aim Trainer for Chrome OS

Chrome OS has even less support than Mac and Linux but the good news is that many Chrome devices now support the installation of Linux apps. So all you need to do is grab the Linux version of Aiming.Pro from here and then follow the instructions here to enable Linux apps on your Chromebook.

Browser-Based Aim Trainers

If you want an even faster experience of jumping straight into your aim training within seconds then browser-based is the way to go. It's also the ideal option if you regularly change computers and want your training history and data with you wherever your train. And finally, for those of you with older Chromebooks without Linux support, it might be your only option.

There are two options here, 3D Aim Trainer and Aiming.Pro.  Comparing them is beyond the scope of this article but Aiming.Pro is free and you're already on our site so why not give it a try.
